The Iyengar methodology is a great way to begin your journey. Align to Awaken offers open classes suitable for all levels of experience. Iyengar yoga utilizes various props to help learn each posture with precision facilitating the depth in your understanding and experience of each pose. This connects you more intensely to your body. You can build healthy physical and mental alignment while developing a safe and constructive practice for years to come.

Like, many physical and mental endeavors, yoga’s beneficial effects increase when practicing with consistency and regularity. Students are encouraged to attend class at least twice per week. Iyengar yoga is an excellent avenue for addressing injuries. Please disclose any previous or ongoing conditions,including menstruation or pregnancy, before class for guidance concerning best practices.
